I will be starting my NQT year in September in a year 4 class.
I have been given the H/A group for maths (set across 2 x yr 4 classes) and am really not sure how long to spend on each of the National Stategies blocks? The L/A set are taken by a job share who will split the blocks between them.
I am aware this may be a silly question?!
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thank you

  3. Look at Bedfordshire Maths Planning. It contains ideas for teaching, all the LOs for that Block, tells you how many weeks for each block, has folders with resources to use with that block along with pitch and expectation egs.
    It's brill!
  4. I agree with above. The Bedfordshire planing is excellent and all teachers could benefit from looking at it.
