    Hi All,

Starting out as a KS2 tutor, not currently working full time in a school so no resources on hand to easily borrow. My experience is largely in KS1 and working with adults - so haven't built up a collection of work to dip into for KS2 year groups.

Looking for advice and tips as to resources you've found useful in 1:1 tutoring for both Maths and English in KS2.
e.g. useful maths books (word problems/mental maths), baseline assessments, popular online resources, online websites/games you've found effective, reading and writing resources..

    Any help is much appreciated!

I use www.******.co.uk, if that's redacted on TES, it's the website about what stars do!

    Hi,
It looks like MathsMutt.co.uk is mostly aimed at Secondary level Maths built around the Scottish curriculum.
Do you know of any KS2 resources (Primary level)?
    Many thanks!

Forgive me, I've been out of the Primary resources loop for a few years.. I'm guessing you mean 'Twinkle'?

Yes, it is aimed at Secondary and is built around the Scottish curriculum . The S1 pages are for Secondary 1 - where the colour co-ordination gives the levels. Green coloured notes (with some Blue) are at the level you are seeking.
There are free worksheets found by clicking on "Student Pages, Worksheets".

If you want paid resources, I have Numeracy questions at https://www.tes.com/resources/search/?authorId=191328&q=numeracy questions&shop=mathsmutt

Yes it is ******. They have loads of great PowerPoints, assessment tests etc. Hit the button is widely used for times tables and mental maths halving, doubling, square and cube numbers etc. So that’s another great resource. Most schools use ******, and when I trained most of my mentors did too.

    You should check out numbertraining.com

I should point out that it’s my own site. (I’m a maths tutor, and I built it because none of the sites out there were quite what I needed.)

It gives you endless maths questions for free, and you can sign up for an account to track progress. (Also free.)
