Hi My baby is due in July so I'm anticipating going on maternity leave at the end of June. We have been advised of redundancy procedures being in place with "all staff reductions made no later than August 31st". Will this affect my additional maternity pay? Also could my Head be very cunning and decide to make my post redundant just before I'm due to start my maternity leave or should all redundancies happen at the same time? (about 10 posts being made redundant). Another question: I am currently full time and could volunteer for a reduction in hours when I return after my maternity leave, would this affect my additional maternity pay? Would I have to pay some back? So many questions and quite a lot of stress :-( Thanks in advance!
