Maternity Leave and Pay

  1. Quick question... If I start my maternity leave in July and I am allocated 90% pay and then 50% pay would I have moved onto the next pay scale??
    I am currently on Main Scale 5 and from September would be moving onto Main Pay Scale 6.

    Bit gutted reading this post, as was banking on that little bit of extra cash!
    What about when you return, if it's in the same school year, i.e. Mat leave starts Aug (M4)and you return in April. Will you be on the next scale up (M5)?
