Gunmen opened fired at various locations in the city. Explosions heard. At least 60 hostages taken at Bataclan concert hall. Up to 26 killed. Incomprehensible horror. My heart is breaking at the news.

it's getting worse. just said that there are hundreds at the Bataclan - there's a gig tonight. death toll getting higher. no one being allowed out of the Stade de France where France were playing Germany. there's a vine of the game where you can hear explosions on the commentary. people coming down to the pitch there.

Who knows. Not going to speculate until I have facts though. There are plenty of evil ******** in the world, unfortunately. For now I'm just praying for a swift resolution with no further innocent casualties.

France has closed its borders... state of emergency declared.

'God' doesn't respect borders. It'll be Parisians killing Parisians because 'God' told them to do it.
Some other people will be praying to 'God' for peace.

Maybe 'God' is schizophrenic and liable to mood swings or just trying to please each request as it comes in.

Maybe 'God' works on a system of first past the post re numbers of requests.

Anyway. It must be what 'God' wants.

I feel so sick. I'm terrified for the people caught up in the carnage and I'm terrified for the consequences this will have in the future.

    From The Guardian web:
The AP: French police official confirms two suicide attacks and one bombing near the Stade de France, to the north of Paris.

Reuters, citing police sources, is reporting that at least 40 people were killed in the attacks across the city, while 60 others were wounded. Reports differ, with some placing the death toll greater. The French president said that “dozens” have been killed. We are working to confirm the reports.
