Could anyone share how they mark and give feedback. The whole school is having a real focus on marking and we are being encouraged to use verbal feed back but write down what that verbal feedback was so we can show that our feedback as had an effect. The idea is that we mark their child directed writing in the same way as our teacher directed stuff. Does any one do this and would be willing to share? It has to show the children making progress and we are suppose to set them extension/improvement tasks that are acted upon. This is difficult to prove when you move learning on through questions and challenges in provision.
