Marketing advice

Discussion in 'Professional development' started by who was I kidding, Jun 17, 2011.

  1. My organisation (public sector) is expanding to offer training/ INSET to teachers and other people in the education sector in London and possibly further afield. The courses will be a range of ICT/ eLearning workshops and seminars.
Now, I'm certainly not going to start spamming this forum to drum up business! What I'd like is some advice of how best to catch the eye of teachers, heads, etc other than standard mailouts. I'll admit to being a bit green about marketing considering that until now we've been focused almost exclusively on our local area.
Is there anything that heads and teachers pay particular attention to? If you were looking for this sort of training, where would you go?
    Thanks!
