I'd like to introduce my students to her and would like thoughts from here on how to do it. Has she ever been portrayed by a child actress in film or television? The rendering in stained glass that is on the Maid's Wikipedia entry is *possibly* a bit more pretty and beautiful looking then a child princess who lived in the harsher life of the world of 1290AD would have looked.

    OKAY, LOVE IT.
Why not tell it as a story ? the biography, some nice details of life then , personalise it, flesh out the skull so to speak.

Love this idea. You could expand it by using her her life as a journey through different medieval cultural landscapes.
