A remarkable story considering she was almost killed campaigning for girls' education and now she's got her results to take her on to Oxford.

How many people would have thought that it would be possible after being shot in the head?

All credit to her and her family for supporting her amongst a culture which led to her almost dying for trying to access her basic human right. I would give a good shout out too to the people of the Midlands/Birmingham who will have supported her and her family.

    Excellent news
I'd hazard a guess that she would have received offers from any number of establishments (as some off the more begrudging have suggested elsewhere) but that is fine by me.
She's earned every one of them

A terrific achievement, well deserved. I'd just like to spare a thought for all the average run-of-the mill girls who would never reach those heights but are also being denied the education they deserve.

Seconded. I am sure Malala will continue to represent those other girls and will use her position to lead the fight for change.

She has already made a difference and who knows what else she can go on to do.
