Join us on Monday 18th July, 6:30 – 8pm, for a fascinating talk on how craft education creates the makers of the future.

Thousands of makers in the UK contribute to one of the most vibrant craft sectors in the world. But, it is under threat. Julia Bennett, Head of Research and Policy at the Crafts Council, argues that if we allow craft education and training to be devalued, we will lose skills essential to building more sustainable and creative economies. Using the latest research from the Crafts Council, she will share a manifesto to secure the future of our makers and to put craft education and sustainability at the heart of our curriculum and communities.
