    The abject nature of the education establishment is revealed starkly today with the herald reporting that 20000 pages of so called guidance have been published since advent of CfE. Education Scotland says all is good though because this will now be stripped back to the bare minimum. Could there be a better example of the complete bankruptcy of this organisation? Will someone now step in and put it out of its misery?

    A ream of paper (500 sheets) is about 5cm thick so 20,000 pages would stack up to about 2 metres high. What a colossal waste of time, money and effort!
