Maasai music

  1. Long story short:

I'm going to be doing a project based on the Maasai people from Kenya. I've had a brief research into what I could get my (year9) students to look at. Obviously lots of singing, not many instrumentalists at all in the year group. As it's a joint project with Art, we have a story as a starting point, thoughts of some chanting/singingy stuff with the more able/musical/willing, need something a bit modern to attract the many uninterested!

I know this is basic and maybe a bit odd but does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here?

Moving house and leaving school work until last minute = stressed princess moose!
