little robin still singing all night long

    Nothing so lovely here, just my blooming shouty chicken who thinks 7.30am is a good time to start, and that perhaps people would like to hear her for a good hour. I have no idea what is all about. She hasn't even laid an egg.

    Your chook is well behaved then. Mine start by about 7.
    The robins are singing but not in the night. I love robin song, and wren song.

    The Robin in my avatar is one I meet on my daily dog walk. While the dog was sniffing around he hopped right up to me on a branch and kept still while I got my phone out of my pocket and took the photo. He seems to have no fear.

    My robin's at it all night long. There must be a big territorial battle going on. I hope it ends peacefully. I'm a bit worried about the blackbirds near my london home because I haven't heard them this year.
