I have been asked to complete a literacy audit and wonderd if anyone had a template I could use to help me get started. Brain freeze and workload are impacting on my ability to get started. All help gratefully received!

Don't let this become a tick-box exercise. There's an article entitled "How to audit your whole-school literacy provision" at https://www.siimagonline.co.uk/item/151198-how-to-audit-your-whole-school-literacy-provision. You might also consider finding out more about the literacy components/opportunities within each of the core and foundation subjects of the national curriculum. Follow the subject-specific links next to the subheading "Basic skills" under the heading "Boosting knowledge and skills" at http://www.specialeducationalneeds.com/home/inclusion.
