Big decisions. We have lots of part time staff in a big dept and many split classes. This has meant year 10 we’re studying Shakespeare with one teacher and the 19th c text with another Which means neither finished in school. Remote learning? A joke.
we need to finish - or in some cases start- Shakespeare for a start.
Waiting to hear from our awarding body for the detail. I know they’ll do what they can to help.
The poor kids will need a lot of help revising the content and skills they learnt before we closed apart from anything else. Don’t even get me started on attendance. ‘Second wave’ and behaviour issues we will also have to deal with!
at least it’s going somewhere toward making it doable.
