Level 6 at Key Stage 2

  1. Do Key Stage 2 SATs or teacher assessment go beyond level 5?

  3. TA can be at whatever level they are wuoking at. As for SATS, I have been asked about marking L6 papers this year, but not sure how it's going to work in school yet.

    Up until this year, the highest they could achieve was a level 5.
    This year an additional level 6 paper has been introduced for Maths and English and you have to put forward any children you think could achieve a level 6. They sit the standard paper too. The level six papers are externally marked.

    They've always been allowed to be given any level that exists in the TA. It's only the NCT half that's been restricted.
