I do 1:1 tuition with a great yr 6 boy. This week I want to show him some examples of level 4 writing that we can pull apart and discuss. I have found some examples on the standards site but they are annotated etc and the handwriting is small and hard to read. Does anyone have any typed up examples I could use. I would be really grateful. I want to show him a few which would take me a while to type up if I went with the standard site examples.

What about the examples in the back of the SATs mark schemes?

I would use the ones that are high L4 as these are likely to be consistently L4 across all the assessment criteria, the low L4 ones might not be. I would also avoid recent ones as the school might be using these for SATs preparation/mock tests.
