Lesson Observations with no notice - the only way forward

  1. Exactly. You have to love those managers who criticise from a position of power that allows them to avoid being subjected to the same standards.

    A system that is built on mutual trust and respect would - and should - enable a culture of constant observation, as a system of continual feedback and improvement.

    The 'fear' and mistrust that is rife in schools these days with regard to observations is borne out of poor management styles and the rifts gained by schools focussing on data rather than children, people and what really matters...
