I have a Performance Management observation on Friday. It's going to be on Of Mice and Men. Any ideas what to teach? It can be on any part of the novel.

    Thanks a lot!
  2. A little historical perspective:

The songs are about the situations of George, Lennie and the other farm workers.Use them to have the students consider how the songs match the story. Have any of the characters in the story "got the do re mi' and a way out?

How Lennie changes as a character or not through the novel?

the significance of the opening and ending chapters-their symbolism and how they foreshadow events in the book through the weather nature and animals' actions?

How G and L are contrasted through their phys. descriptions on pg 2/3/4-and the symbolism of their physical appearance?
