Leftover pork - any suggestions?

Discussion in 'Cookery' started by gargoyle770, May 30, 2011.

  1. Title says it all really
We had roast pork (shoulder, I think) last night and have a good sized bit left over for today.
    Any tasty recipe suggestions?
  2. Thank you all for your ideas. The pork looked a little pink so I went went with the stir fry and noodles - it wasn't great but it wasn't horrible either! Next time I'll try one of the other suggestions.
    Thanks again
  3. Put in a roasting tin, fat side up, pour in about 0.5cm high of medium cider.
Mix mustard (1 tsp), orange zest, honey (1 tsp) and maple syrup (2 tsp), together and spoon on to top of the fat. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes @ 160/180 opening the oven every 5 minutes to baste the fat with the cider/mix juices. Serve with root veg cooked in cider.
