How much notice to you need to give an agency to leave them?
None. You have no contract of employment, just day to day. You can tell them you are no longer available or just stop taking their calls - that's if you get any.

You might need some formal date of departure recorded lest you take up work with an "introduced " school. If it is within 6 months the agency might try for a finder's fee on the school.
Just email or tell them that you are no longer looking for work with them.
WIth a certain large chain agency their computer periodically zaps you back into oblivion anyway...
