Learning Arabic

    Could somebody advise me on a method to start learning Arabic from scratch.

  2. join a class - don't try learning yourself! its a very complicated language but definitely worth it!
     
  3. The Michel Thomas Arabic course is the best to get you started. Then there are some books caled Kallimni 'Arabi (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kallimni-Arabi-Bishweesh-Beginners-Egyptian/dp/977416220X/ref=pd_bxgy_b_text_b) There are 5 levels.
    If you want to learn MSA, then the best is Rosetta Stone.
