Leap Year Directed Time

    If you ar under STPCD then it is against the rules. Whether it is worth making a fuss about, I am not sure - I think I would prefer to have another day of teaching than some of the INSET days I have endured, especially if it gave me extra time with exam classes. By the way, leap years are good for teachers. Most jobs give a fixed number of days off, meaning that people work for an extra day, but teachers work for a fixed number of days and therefore get an extra day off.

    I'm sorry but, seriously? So every 4 years you may have to work 1 day extra that if there wasn't a big deal in the news about it being a leap year you probably wouldn't have even noticed. I really don't think this is worth making a fuss over.
