I'll be hosting a webchat with Tim Edge, director of development at Headington School, on December 14 at 4.30pm.

We will be discussing development and what it entails (including alumni relations, fundraising and cultivation of major donors). More importantly, we'll investigate how schools can boost their income from it.

Should you have any questions about this topic, please post them and we will endeavour to ask Tim as many of them as we can during the webchat. Even if you are not able to take part in the live webchat, you will be able to view the responses afterwards.

We look forward to receiving your queries. The webchat will take place here.

my last secondary rented the staff car park to the Post Office from 5pm to 8am and all weekend. Good solution for the business, school and local residents. More schools should investigate dong something similar, especially where they are located in inner cities where parking spaces are at a premium. Another rents parking space out on Football days to supporters.
