Laughter in School

Discussion in 'Behaviour' started by SimonNeville, Feb 10, 2012.

  1. Dear Tom, we've recently been running Laughter Yoga sessions in schools in Key Stage 1 and 2 and it's been really interesting to get the feedback from teachers around the readiness to learn of the pupils following the sessions. The Laughter Yoga or as we call it at Totally Laughter Yoga, Laughtercise, seems to have an amazing cathartic effect on children. With loads of other health benefits (see www.totallylaughteryoga.co.uk) it would also seem to be able to positivily impact on behaviour within schools, but how can we get more schools to take the leap and try something that may seem a little off the wall at first?
