large comprehensive to small private school, appropriate pay

Discussion in 'Pay and conditions' started by khjl, Mar 5, 2011.

  1. I have worked as Head of Drama UP2 with TLR 2 in a large comprehensive school. I'm moving to a small private school Years 1-8 (260 pupils) again leading the subject with 1 part time member in the department. I am presently negotiating pay. Have you any suggestions? I need to check pension situation. The work load is the same, smaller school but mostly on my own with an expectation of several extra curricular after school activities a week. There is no weekend work, no boarding. Any suggestions or thoughts would be welcomed.
