    I think she’s been pretty competent over a number of issues that have befallen that country and to dismiss your attack as rather petty i would rather say that a crisis brings out the best leaders as we have seen there and unlike in London and Washington.

    Well done Jacinda Ardern, and of course the NZ Labour Party.

    I don't disagree with you. Its amazing what happens when one has a competent thoughtful and decisive leader who isn't just interested in tomorrow's headline in the gutter press.

    On the subject of Labour across the world (!) the Scottish Green Party is getting a lot of ex-labour voters joining up. Scottish Labour is a bit dead in the water. Quite sad, really. Not that I vote Labour, but it's still quite sad.

    high on hydroxychloroquine or something ***! NZ have the best record of handling coronavirus thanks to
    @jacindaardern
    and she’s rightly been re elected on a landslide thanks to that record alone

    Garbage, even by your standards. At least 43,000 people have died in the UK, 25 in New Zealand. They have crowds back at sporting events, they don't need to wear masks and their economy has taken far less of a hit than the UK. It's the UK that's the disaster and you are enablers.

    Wow this is an amazing parody account - had me fooled that it was the real Torygraph until I realised not even the official account could be so hilariously stupid as to suggest that NZ’s PM had a disastrous CV19 policy when NZ deaths are 25 as compared To UK’s 43,000+

    What the actual **** is this? Let me tell you right now, my brother is an emergency medicine doctor in Auckland, and the policy has protected the country and ensured there have been a handful of deaths. She is loved and admired not only in NZ but around the world.

    So disastrous, the people voted overwhelmingly for her and her party and delivered a majority. Its the will of the people. Sounds familiar, a party offering disastrous policies, gets big election win.

    New Labour was part of it yes. It's been a long, slow death, hastened on by a growing number of Scots wanting Independence. Scottish Labour is not pro-indy, in fact Labour stood shoulder to shoulder with the Tories in the No campaign.
    Currently, Nicola Sturgeon's approval ratings amongst Labour voters in Scotland are actually higher than Richard Leonard's (who, in case you didn't know, is the leader of Scottish Labour)
    How damning is that..?

    I've noticed over my lifetime that it isn't just Britain that flips from right to left wing politics or vice versa. It's something that happens at more or less the same time in most western states. Is it coincidental that the more right wing the government is, the more deaths from covid there are? For the sake of the world, we must hope that Trump gets his arrse kicked big time in 19 days time and every voter around the world decides theyve had enough of divisive, uncaring politics once again.
