Seems familiar. LEA inspectors in, nearly everyone got told they were rubbish. It was a set up and left the staff demoralised. Oddly when Ofsted came a few months later the observations came back as fine (Mostly Good and Outstanding). Now SLT could claim that the LEA inspection bucked peoples ideas up but I would say that the LEA inspectors came looking for faults and were told to be harsh by SLT.
