KS4/KS5 ICT - will they be scrapped and rebranded?

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by Beaniegenie, Jan 13, 2012.

  1. I know that Edexcel have posted a notice about a new computing course at GCSE. It sounds as if it will be ready to run in September 2013 - after their pilot. No mention of A Level. What do you think will happen to GCSE ICT? Will it be scrapped? Can they still call it ICT? Will a qualification called "ICT" now have no value in the real world?
