I am the sole science teacher in a special school. I have 6 students who will be 'year 10' in September, and would be capable of getting an exam pass in science. They will also be doing English and Maths. They are all high functioning Autistic.

Until I arrived at the school in January, they had done next to no science. I have rapidly gone through all the basics, and we have just about squeezed it all in. I am hoping I can go through each topic in more depth next year, as I should have a better time allocation - I only had 2 hours a week with them.

I need help to choose a course - I don't think they would cope with BTEC, so I am thinking AQA science A or B. I like B, but would value the opinions of others in a similar set up. Thank you
