In a bid to improve the reputation of KS3 ICT in the face of current adversity, I am going to rewrite my schools SOW to including more computing principles, in effect building pupils up to be able to take GCSE computing or GCSE ICT.

I'm working on a new topic, based on one of this year's major events.

There's a couple of the usual design a poster, calculate spreadsheet averages activities etc.

But I think the section that would fit right in with your new SOW is a programming section looking at sorting.

The title is a bit of 'work in progress' but I'm currently calling it -
"Re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic"

Thanks Madcat that sounds like a novel unit and I would love to see what you have when your finished.

Jonathan thank you for your suggestions.
4. @johnblack - sorry to dent your enthusiasm but to me when I saw "Re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic" it seemed to me that madcat might be pulling your plonker, old chap....
Watch out for icebergs!!!
