I'd be surprised if you could find a textbook for yr 3-5 but if you mean storybooks, the Catherine Cheater Scheme do French storybooks as do Little linguist. Amazon also do some traditional stories.

Take a look at the TTS Languages catalogue or phone for their paper catalogue.
The `Everyday French' series is worth a look or maybe the`Developing French' series.

Thank you all for those links! I will be looking at all of them carefully in the next few days!
Any textbooks though that follow the new KS2 curriculum for MFL? I am happy to use websites but I need to have something else in place as well.
    Any links for Spanish?

    Thanks again!

Pretty much all of the above are also available in Spanish.

What do you mean by "the new KS2 curriculum for MFL"?

There are so many resources available online that you shouldn't need a text book, and can spend the money on the cool toys and reading books and things.

HI Geekie, this is what I have come up with as many other quotues and information online:
    "A new key stage 2
scheme of work with units for French, German and Spanish has been
developed that covers all years of key stage 2 and suggests a way of
enabling learners to meet the objectives of the Key Stage 2 Framework
    for Languages (DfES, 2005)."

So obviously there is a new curriculum...

The scheme of work you mentioned has been archived now, so not so new anymore, though the units are still of interest to primary schools who deliver MFL.
    Archived resources: http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/20100612050234/http:/www.standards.dfes.gov.uk/schemes3/subjects/primary_mfg_new/?view=get
The units have also been saved to other sites who list primary resources for languages. That has been the subject of other threads on this forum.
The resources on my website (I have already put the links on this post) have been tailored to the above QCDA scheme of work.
The QCDA is however closing as part of the current government's education reforms. See this link:
