    Hi all,

After inspiration / advice really. How do you all plan and run your guided reading sessions? Currently we have half an hour and the children are split into table groups. Myself and the TA read with a group a day and the other groups do comprehensions. Just wondered if anyone had a better way? Also for the new curriculum does any one have any good resources they have found to support guided reading? Should mention I am in Year 2.

    Thanks in advance

Sounds good to me. You could vary what the other groups do. Comprehension, sequencing, predicting, independent reading, non fiction research, book review - any reading activity will do.
