Hi all. Im looking for some sort of assessment to support my APP reading. Basically im wanting to give them some sort of test, yes yes sorry i know, tests how horrible and outdated la la la, simply to back up my own assessment. I can pretty confidently say child a is a 2a etc but would like something to back me up. Apart from using past SAT papers, anyone know of anything else out ther!!!???

    I have these:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Reading-Comprehension-Key-Stage-1/dp/0721707343/ref=pd_sim_b_2
In fact I have all three sets. Not cheap but excellent.

Depends how soon you want them. The KS1 pack has a different cover.

Hi Fruitloop86, I think you are wise to back up your own assessments with something else, it helps to confirm your own accuracy of judgements and can give you insights into areas that you might not have thought to address yourself. I use PIRA (http://www.hoddertests.co.uk/tfsearch/reading/pira.htm) and find them good for diagnostic analysis too.
