Key government music policies

Discussion in 'Music' started by Rockmeamadeus, Nov 1, 2011.

  1. Where do we start?
Two big ones have been the Sing Up initiative and the Ebac (which does not include Music as a worthwhile subject).
  2. The Government is just about to publish it's National Music Plan - possibly - but not confirmed on the 7th November.
It is in response to the government review publshed on 7 February 2011, the Music Education in England – A
    Review by Darren Henley
, and its response to the review.
  3. Thanks guys - annadz, I keep checking this website every day to see where we are at on this. Hopefully some good news for us in light of the EBac.
Many thanks to both of you - there seems to be scant ground to cover, so will probably look at charities too.
