Music education in the UK is facing challenges on many fronts. To help with this, the Philharmonia is launching a Young Fellowship Programme, to support talented 10-15 year-olds from low-income families to realise their potential, initially in Leicester. This will be achieved through additional one-to-one lessons with our players, creative weekends and free access to our rehearsals and concerts, working in close collaboration with Leicester-shire Schools Music Service and Awards for Young Musicians.
