    It seems disproportionate, but every exclusion has to be judged on its own merits. As I (along with every other poster on this forum) know of nothing beyond my own school I cannot pass further comment.

    I suspect that they are probably more likely to be involved with such behaviour, but that there is an expectations game with regard to behaviour and encountering racism from adults and children in school could well be a contributing factor to poor behaviour.
