Junior School ICT Club

  1. Hi

We used stop frame animation in class throughout the school so I wanted something different for our ICT club - we used Scratch, Kodu, Pivotstick animator - all free downloads and a great way to try out new tools with enthusiastic children before introducing in class! It meant we had some ICT "ambassadors" who were then the pupil experts who helped out in class...

Yeah, already teach stop frame in Years 5 + 6. I'll have a look at some of this other software though. Tried Scratch before but didn't have much of an outcome in mind. What do you use it to create / achieve?

Making games is all we do and they lap it up, I have tutorials in resource bank that you will hopefully find of use. Year 5&6 will be able to cope with them, well above average ones will
