June job application dilemma

    Hiya folks,
Full-time job has just been posted today on TES and I would like to apply (its for Sept). However, you all will know the resignation deadline has just passed.
My current situation is that I'm part-time teacher in a very small fee-paying school which is having some problems with intake/keeping enough students on roll. I can't see my future prospects looking any good come September. I think that there will be staff cuts.
Anyone got any idea how I can navigate this? I want to apply, but feel worried that if I get the job, I have breach of contract issues.
Thank you for any pearls of wisdom on this.

Go talk to the HT. It depends on so many things but your departure might rescue the budget or might be a disaster for the school. You must have some idea of where on that spectrum you are.
