Jobseeking while sick

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by laurab8033, May 18, 2012.

  1. I have read some others on this but my situation is different.

I had a minor surgery a few weeks ago and have had complications since so not been back to work yet. I have been applying for jobs as my contract ends soon and have an interview next week but just been signed off by doctor again.
Can I still attend this interview, even though I have a sick note?

Well done on that interview! You need to get the Dr to agree to this; shouldn't be a problem.
But it is important that you have the go-ahead from him/her.
Do go to the Welcome thread and read the general advice in the Interview clickables.
    And then read this: * * * * * Teaching a lesson at interview * * * * *
Do read this thread too :
Safeguarding and Child Protection - the questions, NOT the answers. (Bump it when you've finished reading it)
Well done again on getting your interview - we look forward to you starting a brand new thread called Dear Theo - I got that job!
    Best wishes
