Can anyone please help? If your job share decides to leave, do their hours automatically get given to you?
Also if there is a threat of a potential redundancy elsewhere in school, what happens then?
    Many thanks

  3. Your job is as secure as any other. You would not automatically get 'given your partners hours. The post vacant would need to be filled like any other and while you might get encouraged to apply you might also get encouraged to do PPA cover instead to allow the head to fill the post with a full timer if that is what they'd prefer.
You are under just as much/ as little threat of redundancy as anyone else.
