I have got an interview for an Assistant SENco post this Friday and was wondering if you could give me some advice.
    1. I have to teach a y7 Foundation Learning class (LO: to describe a storm). Are there specific level descriptors for 'KS 3' Foundation Learning? Can anybody recommend any background reading on KS 3 Foundation Learning?
    2. What about the salary (it was not specified in the job advert and is up to negotiation)? I have been a History/Humanities/G&P/Sociology teacher for over 13 years and I currently work for Kent County Council, teaching students (KS1-4) who are not in mainstream education (mainly permanent exclusions). Does £37.000 sound realistic ( I am currently on MPS 6) or am I aiming too high/low?
Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
