Hi...What does this mean 'Please note this is a rolling advert and currently has no closing date. Applications are sent on a weekly basis'

Does it mean they have millions of vacancies?

It could be that they have a number of vacancies, are looking for bank staff or simply waiting until the right one comes along. Call to find out.

Strange? Unless of course they've had no takers up to now and are just desperate? However in the current climate I doubt that would be the case.

I'd think it means the ad isn't for a specific job vacancy. It might mean they have lots of vacancies (possible if, say, it was something vague like 'primary teachers in London area') but it might mean that they have no actual jobs and it's just an excuse to build up a teacher bank in case they get a job top fill!

It’s a teaching assistant role with the RNIB ( supporting the blind and visually impaired). So it did specifically state teaching assistant .. so confused
