I find myself curiously liking this current 'pop' star and her music.

Can't work out whether this means that I'm hip and down with the kids or a loser having a mid life crisis

Isn't she a Gaga parody?
therefore you are neither but a sophisticate who enjoys ironic cultural juxtaposition.

I saw her on Graham Norton, she seemed quite nice. But what on earth was she wearing????

6. I don't really like her music at all.
I don't find her anything at all like Lady Gaga!
Although I have to say I admire her - heart problems since she was a kid and a stroke at 18.
Good on her, I say. She is still alive and kicking and making something of her life.

a bad parody of
youff of today, nothing is real unless you grab your crotch and include mthurfuker in the lyric, I thought is was dull europop, with cultural sponge trimmings, dumbed down (if that is possible) to suit a pre-teen audience. Which are the only subgroup naive enough to be entranced by simplistic messages and derivative tunes.
Gaga has loads more talent.
But what do I know?

In interviews she admits the whole point of that song was to parody that type of music. Not all her songs are like that.

I may be maligning her them [IMG]
I saw a video a while back, I haven't heard her speak. The video definitely wasn't worth a bookmark. But I only have two or three hundred bookmarked tunes so space is limited.

10. Lurk - as I posted above, she has suffered with heart problems since she was a child and she had a stroke at 18.
From all I have gathered in the snippets of interviews I have seen, she is taking the p.iss out of the "meaningless" of what others sing, as life could be over tomorrow.
That sounds a bit melodramatic, but I guess she has sussed what is important and what is not. And her way of illustrating that is to take the p.iss out of the talentless eejits who plague us with all that crotch grabbing and mthurfuker nauseous stuff.
I don't know if you will have heard of the Fantastische Vier. They are a hiphop band who rap (well, how can I explain, hiphop is the culture, you don't need to rap, but these guys do). Anyway, they do it in German, which is amazing for a start and even more amazing is, they have been doing it for 20 odd years.
And Thomas D is totally opposed to gangsta rap. I am not sure what point I am trying to make, apart from the fact that if you could understand German, there is a great interview with him taking the p.iss out of gangsta rappers who live in the suburbs and have a jakuzzi.

The last Gaga I saw was about consensual misogyny, predation, subjugation and fashion as an instrument of control. I liked it. I guess it is in the eye of the beholder.

12. I actually like Gaga.
I consider her the ultimate p.iss taker.
I think she does it better than Madonna ever did.
