What a refreshing change to see whole-hearted support for teachers from a Labour leader, instead of platitudes from the likes of Blair and Jim Callaghan.

When you stop listening to the rednecks who dismiss Corbyn out of hand as being more left wing than Trotsky, and hear what he has to say, he talks more sense than most politicians care to.

He's not very good at delivering a speech, is he? Surely there's a bit of middle ground between Ed memorising everything and having to read it off the page without even hitting the rhythms of it. He needs to go to the Globe and do a couple of acting classes. He's clearly sincere but I sort of wish he'd just emailed in the text.

‘Kebab shops bring people together they are a place of great discourse and discussion and particularly a place for young people to go to. And henceforth we will know Keith Vaz as the sugar man because of his great campaign to try and do something about the high intake of sugar in our society.
So what I’d like people to do when they take a kebab, is also take a salad with it as that helps to give them the balanced diet that everybody needs.’
