Bernie has dropped out and so now its old Joe against the lying idiot Trump.

WHo do we want to win?

I hope Biden wins and the world returns to some sort of sanity post Trump and post Coronavirus.

What are his chances of winning though?

i know New Yorkers and Californians (not the true reps of US opinion) and they think he has a chance.

Depends though on how the mid West sees him and of course the odious Fox news.

Trump will win. Biden doesn't know what day it is. Trump will make mincemeat of him.

Might well pan out that way. Im annoyed the way the Democrats just seem to have gone for this strategy...its is inevitable now that Presidents get elected for two terms...Bush Snr being the last one to fail to do so...thats nearly 30 years ago now...

Whoever wins the margin will be narrow and it may be on marginal circumstances, one could be if very old Bernie actively supports Biden during the campaign or if he shuffles off into obscurity.

I just wanted to leave a metaphorical stink in the thread before it gets too heated.

The Democrats would rather lose with Biden than win with Sanders. Democrats and Republicans two cheeks...you know the rest.

Trump will win because he usually starts with a nickname. "Crooked Hilary" didn't help Clinton and everyone remembers the nickname.

I think he calls Biden "Little Joe" or "Tiny Joe". Again, these toxic nicknames do have an affect.

Trump is a very weird individual. He comes across like a child and he says and repeats some very bizarre things.

His personal social behaviours are so outlandish they are embarrassing to people, but somehow, they vote for him.

Don't be so sure that it'll be Biden. A lot can happen between now and August.

Like when the death toll reaches 10 million Trump will order the November election gets postponed?

I don't think the President has any powers to postpone an election.

Change of health, change of candidate.
Other Democrats may look a better option with a pandemic happening.

Like in this country, the electorate will choose the biggest liar, and get what they deserve. Thos rednecks that voted Trump in, and have probably suffered worst currently will vote him back in. They can all have guns and God, that will save them from anything!
