    ...but the Fire Service too.

“Chief inspector, Sir Thomas Winsor, called for a new code of ethics... (and) .... highlighted in his report a staff survey that found 24% reported feeling bullied or harassed at work in the past 12 months, with the number rising to 46% at one service.”

(My first response was: 24% of staff bullied or harassed at work in the last twelve months?! Try the last twelve days!!.... or just the last twelve hours!)

I do wonder what the figures look like for some schools and MATs. Why isn’t anyone formally finding out? How do we get this Sir Thomas Winsor on the case for Education, too?

Now don't be silly, if you are in government and you know there is a problem the last thing you want to do is set up a committee or carry out a survey to confirm it....

And if you do and you don't like the findings you bury it anyway or fire the person who wrote it and literally no one in the country cares one bit.
