I'm desperate for a job that is not Zero Hours Contract (what I have now).

So I apply for a Teaching Assistant Job.

BUT I get an interview for a TEACHING POST!!!

    What the hell?

I'm a bit confused.. it was obvious I applied for the TA Job, I even gave the job reference and focused on the person spec etc...

Would you consider accepting the teaching post if offered? If so definitely accept. ;)

    I love teaching Y2 & Y6.

It sounds really dumbass, but I found I got more leeway. May be things have changed!

Perhaps if you go for the interview they'll then give you a job offer for Head Teacher.

    No.

I'd rather not even have the stress of being a CT....

I'm not exactky sure how it's come to this. It's not likely I'll even get the CT post..

How about accepting the teaching post, but for a TA's wage?

Are they trying to take the p*ss?! Because I can't quite work this one out.

You CLEARLY applied for a TA job? Now I find it concerning that they can't even get that right.

Did you see an advert from the school advertising for a teacher at the time you were applying? As its difficult to determine if there was indeed a teacher post or they have made a typo error.

I'm thinking of hitting the red button on the TA thing. It's getting ridiculous now. Expectations are just unrealistic.
