We all seem to be getting on well, don't we?! There's a bit of fretting and fratching but I think we'll all get into our stride and decide what and who goes where.
We've gone and got some Emergency Chairs, so there's room for everyone.
Have we had a Welcome to New Tes Party, yet? Don't be shy! Let's mingle.
    Popcorn, anyone?

Are fretting and fratching something to do with woodwork?

    .

Do you do scones with clotted cream? :)

May we have enough for everybody who comes in over the next hour, please?

And they can choose the Devonshire style (cream first) or the Cornish way (jam first).

I have some tea flavoured with vanilla and bourbon which would go beautifully with a scone. Cornish style for me please.

A pot of Earl Grey with scones in the Devonshire style for me please.

I baked a Madeira cake yesterday, there's plenty here for anyone who'd like some.

I think you may have been a bit premature with the Emergency Chairs. Not sure we'll be needing them but it was a kind idea.

    It IS nice, isn't it!

I'll start baking now for the 'afternoon tea' shift. Theo's already done scones so I'll offer Lemon Drizzle
