Is your school fully staffed for September?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by TESHelenWard, Jul 14, 2015.

  1. Hi,

I am writing about the teacher shortages for the TES. I wondered if anyone out there did still have a vacancy for September - and if so, what are your plans to cover it - what are you telling parents / pupils?

Does anyone have any good ideas they want to share with our readers?

Either post here, or email me on helen.ward@tes.co.uk

    Thanks so much.

    Helen

We cannot recruit so have had to put our PPA teachers in class and are using agency to cover PPA. I know of other schools in our area (Outer London borough) who are also having difficulties recruiting.

We have some long term supply arranged to cover a vacancy, we advertised three times and had NO applicants at all!

just outside of London, and no problems. Fully staffed, and plenty of applicants when we advertise.
